I have been involved in health care and taking care of others both professionally and voluntarily for over 29 years. I am a former flight paramedic, police officer, firefighter and a Camp Fire survivor. I grew up in the military and was born in Managua, Nicaragua where my father was a United States Air Force advisor to the Nicaraguan air force. I understand how life can take detours, sometimes sudden and tragic. I am committed to fostering your development in a way that is reflective of your goals and values and creating a safe space where we can explore the unique challenges you face. Whether it’s complex trauma, grief or a difficult season with new challenges, I am passionate about using my life experiences and education to help you achieve your wellness goals.
I left the field of emergency medicine in 2009 and went on to earn an associates in computer science from Rogue Community College in Grants Pass, Oregon and a bachelors in business administration from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon I graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona with a masters in licensed professional clinical counseling at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
