Christi Dodson, works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who want practical strategies to change patterns, improve behavior, and strengthen relationships. Her approach is behavior-focused and solution-oriented, integrating CBT, EMDR-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, multisystemic modalities, and a holistic brain-health framework inspired by Dr. Daniel Amen’s work. Christi helps clients understand how thoughts, habits, and environments shape behavior and teaches clear, actionable steps for healthier emotional and relational functioning.

She has worked in residential treatment with high-needs youth and has more than 15 years of experience as a foster and adoptive parent in an ISFC-certified home, supporting children with trauma, attachment injuries, explosive behaviors, anxiety, and complex family dynamics. Christi enjoys working with couples as well, guiding partners toward healthier communication and stronger behavioral patterns within their relationship.

Happily married and the mother of six, Christi brings a grounded, compassionate presence and a steady belief that people can change when given the right support, skills, and a safe place to grow. She is currently expanding her training in animal-assisted and adventure-based therapeutic approaches.
