Hi, I’m Lyndsey Nelson, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist.
I am passionate about supporting children, youth, young adults, women of all ages, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and understood. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, allowing me to meet clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths and build practical tools for meaningful change. I believe each person has the capacity for growth, and therapy can be a place to uncover that potential with guidance and support. I enjoy working with clients facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship stress, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. Whether supporting a child through emotional struggles, helping a young adult navigate identity and independence, guiding couples toward healthier communication, or empowering women to embrace their authentic voice, my goal is to provide encouragement, insight, and effective coping strategies that create lasting change. I am committed to helping clients build resilience, strengthen confidence, and develop healthier ways of managing the stressors of everyday life. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, traveling to new places, and getting lost in a good book. These experiences enrich my perspective and deepen my commitment to helping others create meaningful and fulfilling lives. Lyndsey Commonly Helps With:
