My name is Miranda McWilliams and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) who works with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, postpartum concerns, chronic illness, and life transitions. I have experience supporting Camp Fire survivors, foster youth and transitional-aged youth, foster parents, biological parents impacted by foster care, postpartum adults, individuals with chronic illness, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, integrating CBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and art therapy. I have specialized training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, domestic violence intervention and prevention, sexual assault response, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to build resilience and meaningful coping skills. |
