Hi, I’m Miranda McWilliams, Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW).
I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, postpartum concerns, chronic illness, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they move toward healing and growth. My experience includes supporting Camp Fire survivors, foster youth and transitional-aged youth, foster parents, biological parents impacted by the foster care system, postpartum adults, individuals living with chronic illness, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I understand that every person’s story is unique, and I strive to meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and art therapy interventions. I also have specialized training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, domestic violence intervention and prevention, sexual assault response, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). I aim to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen and safe enough to explore challenges, build resilience, and develop meaningful coping skills that support lasting change. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process. Miranda Commonly Helps With:
