Sherri's rate is $145 per session.

Sherri is in-network with Partnership Health and with Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal.

Sherri can bill as an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance plans.  We do all the work: verifying your benefits, sending claims, and only taking the portion from you that your insurance won't pay.  Most people using their out-of-network benefits pay around $30-50 per session after their deductible has been met.
Sharon "Sherri" Broome is an Associate Clinical Social Worker in our Chico office.  She provides online sessions to anyone in the state of California and in-person sessions in our beautiful and calming office in Chico.

Sherri has a passion for helping parents navigate the struggle of parenting children (whether it's young children or adult children) with mental illness.  She also has a knack for helping adults who are growing and learning how to heal from and continue to navigate relationships with parents who display personality disorders or mental illness. 

In this world, we have an idea of what a "normal" family is supposed to be like.  But life is full of variables, and we all are doing the best with what we have been given.  Our families might not always fit the norm of other families, but that doesn't mean we don't love each other fiercely and have a deep longing for a healthy and loving relationship.

Using trauma-informed care, and offering EMDR as an option for healing emotional wounds and the resulting trigger responses from past painful experiences, Sherri walks alongside her clients to help them navigate these unique family relationships. Sherri guides her clients with an effort to understand, learn new communication skills, and hopefully create a little more harmony in the family system by helping one of the members.
