Saturday Therapy Appointments in Redding for Teens, Adults & Families
Hi, I’m Siobhan (Shavon) Dickinson, Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW).
I work with teens, adults, and families who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, ADHD, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they move toward healing and greater emotional well-being. My experience includes working with teens and adults impacted by trauma, individuals managing ADHD, those struggling with disordered eating patterns, and members of the LGBTQ+ community seeking support through life’s changes and challenges. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel accepted, respected, and able to show up as your authentic self. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience. I also provide psychoeducation to help clients make sense of their symptoms and feel more confident in their ability to create change. I strive to create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients can process difficult experiences, strengthen emotion regulation, and move toward lasting growth. I currently offer in-person sessions on Saturdays in our Redding office and provide secure telehealth sessions throughout California. Siobhan Commonly Helps With:
