Hello!  Thank you for reviewing my bio.  I'm honored that you are potentially choosing me to help you on your healing journey.  I am passionately dedicated to the helping profession and to helping people heal and grow.  I bring with me to my sessions an understanding of complex behaviors and diagnoses when it comes to children and families.  Teaching parents how to connect with their young people is a skill many of my clients have told me they enjoy - the youth and the parents alike!
Your mental health is not a destination, it is a journey. Its about how you get there and not where you are going. Therapy can offer a road map to help you on your way to being who you want to become.
I help:
individuals facing issues at home, work, or in relationships. Teens and children facing issues at home, school, social life etc. Couples who are encountering problems at home with their own children or within the relationship.

Trauma, Relationship Issues, Attachment Issues, EFT/EFIT Therapy, Children on the Spectrum and their parents, Anxiety, Adolescents, CBT, Self Esteem
I grew up in northern California and went to chico state. I enjoy taking my dog to upper park and camping with my family and friends. Being out with the people I care about, especially while eating some yummy food, makes me light up and provides me with joy and love.

Inspired Life Counseling
Inspired Life Counseling is owned and directed by Jessica Wilkerson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #104464.
Office Hours: By Appointment                                            Contact us!
MISSION: To provide a tranquil and healing space in which people in our community can find calmness internally through the relaxing atmosphere along with respectful and engaging therapy conversations.  To contribute to happier and more secure families by helping individuals, couples, and teens heal within and thereby creating different ways of engaging with themselves, the world, and those they love.

VISION: Creating a new kind of therapy experience in the Chico area in which therapists have smaller caseloads, giving them the flexibility to spend more time with clients as needed - longer sessions, phone calls, client centered advocacy.  Creating a space in our community where clients can go between sessions just to sit, linger, and re-center themselves when they're having difficult days.  A place to belong while they heal their hearts and relationships.  A therapy office that embodies the unconditional love of Christ no matter what a person's gender identity, romantic disposition, or previous life hardships, experiences, or actions might have been.  To be a safe place.
